Olooh is a fashion brand founded in 2018 by Kader DIABY, an Ivorian photographer known for his poetic images, published in many magazines and advertising campaigns.
Kader DIABY trained as a photographer with the Klaym organization, in collaboration with the University of Arts Zurich. With a degree in auditing and controlling in Rabat, Morocco, he now works as an auditor for a multinational company in Abidjan.
Olooh is inspired by a Malinké culture (a fantasized people of the Ivory Coast, dressed in ample outfits in earthy colors that draw a silhouette that is both casual and elegant, which is the starting point for all my collections, but only a starting point.
Olooh tells the story of a 21st century Abidjanese man, nourished by multiple references gleaned from around the world, who is followed in his professional evolution and his hectic social life as well as in his peregrinations.
Olooh therefore tells my own story, that of a lover of his city, which he explores tirelessly, while seeking to respond to the universal issues of our time: better produce, better educate, better value, better exchange, better communicate, better include, better represent. It is around his questions that the Olooh community is formed. These struggles are ours.
